Looking for a dog friendly pub near the New Forest The Mortimer Arms welcomes four legged friends in our bar and selected dining areas, with outdoor space when the sun appears. We’re right by M27 J2, so it’s an easy stop before or after a forest walk.
Before or after your walk
The New Forest has miles of tracks through heath and woodland. Do a loop, keep dogs on leads near livestock, then head to us for a drink and something comforting to eat. We keep water bowls topped up and the team is always ready with a friendly fuss.
Eating with your dog
Let us know you’re bringing a dog when you book and we’ll seat you in a suitable spot. If your dog likes a quiet corner, say so and we’ll do our best. Muddy paws happen – a towel in the car never hurts.
